Here at O'Dea, the word "repetition" holds a very important place in our daily practice. Athletes go through reps in their respective discipline, putting countless hours in at the gym and on the field, and their sacrifices are shared with all when they compete each week. This is a fundamental that the O'Dea experience helps to instill in students - that practice makes perfect.
For Ismael Jackson and Phineas Ball, video editing is where they have put in reps, and it shows with every new project they share in Mr. Kaden's Video Production class and beyond. As anyone with experience knows, editing is a time intensive process which can be frustrating at times. To succeed, the editor needs a tremendous attention to detail and unwavering curiosity. Both Phin and Ish, possess these skills and we would like to share some of their work below for your enjoyment.
As our seniors enter their final semester in high school, let us all take some time to wish our two O'Dea brothers the best of success as they pursue their dream of editing professionally, and studying film and video in college.
