Zach Dietiker is one of four senior house representatives at O'Dea High School. Zach's role as a senior house representative is to make sure everything is going well at school. Zach helps out with all the activities, assemblies, events, etc.
Basically, Zach is the one helping out with everything behind the scenes. Zach also has a job to do everyday which is to represent himself well as everything he does falls back on how everyone looks at him and his house.
Zach is in charge of Limerick House, and although Zach does a good job at being a senior house representative, it wasn’t something he had in mind at first. It was one of the teachers, Mr. Doyle, who thought Zach would be a good candidate and asked Zach to apply for the job, giving Zach the confidence to apply and get the job.
Looking back Zach is happy he made that choice. Being a senior house representative is hard work, but Zach's favorite part of it all is helping out with everything and seeing the younger kids enjoy the first parts of high school. "I'm leading my house to the ship no doubt," Zach says confidently.
The house cup is a prize any four of the houses can win at the end of the year, but Zach is confident he will take the house cup this year with the help of his team supporting him the whole way.
