Chasing Glory: Inside O'Dea High School Lacrosse with Dylan Pignotti

SEATTLE - As the sun sets over Seattle, the O'Dea High School lacrosse team gathers on the field. Senior Dylan Pignotti, a key player, is ready to talk about their season. He shares stories of their wins, losses, teamwork, and goals. Through his words, we glimpse the spirit of the O'Dea lacrosse team and their journey to success

As the lacrosse season progresses, it seems that the O'Dea lacrosse team is doing great, with only one loss against Skyline. When asked about their record, Dylan Pignotti, a senior at O'Dea High School and a standout player for O'Dea, said, "The season has been going great for us so far this year. We started the season with a bad loss to Skyline, a team we should have beaten, but we came out slow and they made us pay for it."

Despite the early setback, the team has been doing well, with no major injuries to report. However, Pignotti mentioned that one of their top midfielders, Christan Win, has been banged up all year. "If we can get healthy, I know he can do a lot for us," he said.

Looking forward to the playoffs, Pignotti is confident that O'Dea can handle the first two rounds easily. However, he knows that they will have to face Prep in the third round, which will be a great game. "They are looking good this year, but we are far better and deeper as a unit," he said. "If we play our game the way we have the ability to, I think we will be able to get the job done this year."

When asked about rising stars on the team, Pignotti noted that Owen Bruskern has been a great addition to the team. "He is a great young player with a lot of IQ for his age," he said. Pignotti also mentioned that there are a few freshmen who are starting to find their groove: "We have a couple of freshmen who are really stepping up and making plays," he said. "They are going to be great players in the future."

In conclusion, the O'Dea's lacrosse team seems to be doing well this season, with only one loss and no major injuries. With standout players like Owen Bruskern and rising stars on the team, they are poised to do well in the playoffs. As Pignotti said, "If we play our game, I think we can go all the way."
